Sea of Love at the 61st Venice Biennale

Sea of Love / Dagat Ng Pag-Ibig is an immersive film and painting exhibition with the Manila-based artist Jon Cuyson. The project pays homage to the legions of Filipinos who populate our global waterways and work on ships in the oceans — in pursuit of a dream.

Sea of Love is the official selection of the Philippine Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale in Italy, and opened May 9, 2026.
